Initial part was on the trail and a section next to the old canal before we switched to all road.
We missed the road we should have taken to Seneca Falls and followed a hilly route. Faced with another steep hill, Susan asked if there was a different way. We were shown an alternate back road into Seneca Falls which was quiet and less hilly. In Seneca Falls I had lost direction until another cylist pointed us in the right direction back towards Waterloo.
