We packed the Scorpion and Grasshopper for the flight from Boston to Munich. Julian gave us a ride to Boston Logan and with a minimum of problems the bicycles and us were checked in, the tickets for the bicycles paid for and we were on the way.I had booked all accommodation and the first was Hotel Regent in Hallbergmoos close to the airport at Munich and a mile ride from the S-Bahn into Munich. This was a very good choice, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I assembled the bicycles, the only damage was a rubber ring securing the light on the Scorpion and a broken tie wrap holding the wireless speed sensor.
We wanted to revisit places we knew in Munich and took the S-Bahn to Marianne Platz and then on to Waldwiesen Strasse where we used to live. The pictures are from locations in and around Munich and Hallbergmoos
