We packed the Scorpion and Grasshopper for the flight from Boston to Munich. Julian gave us a ride to Boston Logan and with a minimum of problems the bicycles and us were checked in, the tickets for the bicycles paid for and we were on the way.
I had booked all accommodation and the first was Hotel Regent in Hallbergmoos close to the airport at Munich and a mile ride from the S-Bahn into Munich. This was a very good choice, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I assembled the bicycles, the only damage was a rubber ring securing the light on the Scorpion and a broken tie wrap holding the wireless speed sensor.
We wanted to revisit places we knew in Munich and took the S-Bahn to Marianne Platz and then on to Waldwiesen Strasse where we used to live. The pictures are from locations in and around Munich and Hallbergmoos
